Sufyan Mohammed

Dr. Sufyan Mohammed is an Associate Professor of Communications and Research at the University of Scranton. He earned his Post-Doctorate in Marketing & Management from The University of Florida, Warrington College of Business Administration in 2015. He also earned a PhD in Integrated Media & Marketing Communications, and Statistics from Texas Tech University in May 2008. He has an MBA in International Business and Entrepreneurship from Rochester, NY and an MBA in Marketing from Bombay University. He is a board member of Wahed Invest Inc., and has worked for LINOpinion Golin Harris PR (Bombay, India) for four years and been a Senior Public Relations/Creative Consultant for Interactive Media (New York) for two years, in addition to five years experience in international Marketing and Finance. He currently owns and runs Sufyan Baksh Consulting, a boutique marketing consultancy. His research interests include public relations, advertising, branding, product placement, new media, international business and economics, and social media marketing. His work has been published in several internationally renowned peer reviewed journals and has been presented at leading national and international conferences.
