John J. Sailors, Ph.D.

Dr. John J. Sailors has been an associate professor of marketing at the University of Scranton since 2014, having previously taught at the University of St. Thomas (MN) and at the University of Michigan. He earned his PhD in marketing at Northwestern University. Dr. Sailors also has several years of experience in the marketing research industry; in that capacity, and during his academic career, he has led research projects for Ford Motor Company, Harley Davidson, Proctor & Gamble, Henkel, Toro, General Motors, Best Buy, and a variety of other for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. He has published in The European Journal of Marketing, the Journal of Business to Business Marketing, the International Journal of Market Research, the Journal of Financial Services Marketing, and others.
