CFA Institute Research Challenge

Each year students from the Kania School of Management participate in the annual CFA Institute Research Challenge, a global competition that tests students' skills in equity research and valuation, investment report writing and presentation. Students work in teams to research a publicly-traded company and produce a full equity research report. They present their analysis to a panel of industry professionals. The Research Challenge promotes best practices in equity research among students aspiring to be financial analysts, through hands-on mentoring and training in company analysis and presentation skills.
Here are the University of Scranton teams who participated in the CFA Institute Research Challenge over the past three years:
2015-2016: Chames Cyphers, Joseph Guzman, Phetmolly Homesombath, Dan Jennings and Chris Keller
2014-2015: Edward Foley, Timothy Harding, Kevin Prendergast and Ryan Remigio
2013-2014: Jonathan Bennett, Joseph Bruzzesi, Jacqueline Hollawell, Brian Lopes and Victor Shaffer
