The University of Scranton offers three graduate programs for students interested in the broad field of counseling: Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, and School Counseling. Each program provides the individual with the skills, strategies and knowledge required to succeed in the chosen field.  

The counseling profession is growing rapidly. Faster than average growth will occur in the fields of school counseling, rehabilitation counseling, mental health, marital and/or family difficulties, alcoholism, drug abuse, and aging. Employment settings include schools, private practice, community and social service agencies, and rehabilitation agencies.
