Update on the Presidential Search Process and Link to Survey

12/13/2016

Dear University Community

Greetings as we make our journey into these last weeks of Advent. I pray they are full of hope as we wind down this semester. I just wanted to let you know that the Presidential Search Committee continues its work. The Committee had its second meeting in conjunction with the Board of Trustees’ December meeting. At that early point after the release of the position specification we already had our first resumes to review and honed our own thinking about evaluation of candidates for the key needs of the University.

We are at this point deep into the candidate recruiting portion of the process, including following up on all the nominations made to us by the community. We expect sometime early in the next semester to narrow our list of candidates to a group we will invite for first round interviews.

I want to thank you again for your concern for the University and this search process. Please be rest assured of my prayers as we move into the Christmas season. May the break and Intersession be a time of rest and refreshment!

Sincerely,

Philip G. Judge, S.J.
Search Committee Chair
